We open the Word in a verse-by-verse fashion in order to clearly proclaim what God has said so that we may live it out.
We are devoted to prayer, submitting ourselves to God in the Spirit.
We love the body of Christ, and we fellowship often with one another, encouraging one another to walk in a manner worthy of the gospel.

When you visit First Baptist Church for the first time, you can expect to meet friendly people. Parking is in the parking lot to the south of the building or on Tydeman street. You will enter through either the front doors off of Central Avenue or Tydeman Street. You can also enter through the side door adjacent to the parking lot. You will ascend a flight of stairs into the sanctuary. Feel free to sit anywhere! Nobody is going to complain that you took their place. Don't forget to pick up a bulletin and other resources. The service will start promptly, and will last about an hour.
We have just purchased new hymnals, so we have new hymns and choruses to sing! Expect a mixture of classic and modern hymns.
The preaching is expository, moving through the text of Scripture and taking the main point of the passage as the main point of the sermon. Sermons typically last 40 minutes. You can listen to previous sermons by clicking on "sermons" on the menu bar.
We want to minister to women from all walks of life. Not just moms or those moms currently raising children, but all women. We meet once a month September through April to fellowship, encourage and grow spiritually by supporting each other's needs.
Free child care is always provided. So there is no reason a mom can't join us. The children are also being taught biblical principles!
Kidz' Klub will resume, and all kids ages 2-18 are invited. There will be worship in song, prayer, and teaching. Snacks will be provided.
