We open the Word in a verse-by-verse fashion in order to clearly proclaim what God has said so that we may live it out.
We are devoted to prayer. It is a part of every aspect of our lives. We are confident that God hears and answers the prayers of His people.
We love the body of Christ, and we fellowship often with one another, encouraging one another to walk in a manner worthy of the gospel.
We want to see every believer mature and grow into the image of Christ Jesus.
Look no futher!
We LOVE God and we worship the Lord Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit!
If you are passionate for God's Word and you love Christ's church, we believe that you will love it here!
Whether you are freshly born again or you have been in the Lord for decades
(or anywhere in between), we have a place for you!
Dress as casually or as formally as you are led, and find a seat anywhere.
No assigned seats here!
There are MANY opportunities for you to hop in and serve alongside of us. We would love nothing more than to train YOU up for ministry so that you can use YOUR GIFTS in service to our Lord and to His church.
We hope to see you here on a Sunday morning!
We would love for you to visit us! When you visit First Baptist Church of Roxana for the first time, you can expect to meet friendly people.
Parking is readily available in the parking lot to the south of the building or along Tydeman street. You can enter through either the front doors off of Central Avenue and Tydeman Street or you can enter through the side door adjacent to the parking lot.
You will ascend a flight of stairs into the sanctuary. There is a chair lift inside the main entrance for those who are disabled.
Feel free to sit anywhere! Nobody is going to complain that you took their place. The service will start promptly.
We spend time worshiping God in song, in Scripture-reading, in prayer, and in the preaching of His Word.
We love having visitors, and we hope that you will feel welcome and comfortable with us. Our passion is to worship God together and to honor Him as His church.
